Kareem Abdul-Jabbar is coming on "Inside OC with Rick Reiff,"
Laguna Beach, CA (Jan. 31, 2017) – Kareem Abdul-Jabbar is coming on "Inside OC with Rick Reiff," the latest in a series of prominent guests to appear on Orange County's only weekly public affairs program.
Abdul-Jabbar, the UCLA and Lakers basketball legend, author, activist and social commentator, will be promoting his new book, "Writings on the Wall." "We'll talk politics, too, and maybe I'll ask him what's wrong with the Lakers," says Reiff. The show airs the week of Feb. 26.
Recent guests have included Ed Thorp, the genius who "beat the dealer" and beat Wall Street. Besides Jabbar, upcoming guests include developer-hotelier Robert Mayer, who has remade the Huntington Beach coastline; legal experts Erwin Chemerinsky and John Eastman debating Trump; and Nobel economist Vernon Smith.
Meanwhile, Cox Communications, which already carries "Inside OC" in Orange County, San Diego County and Palos Verdes, has added the show to its Las Vegas schedule.
"Thanks to Cox and our other carriers, PBS SoCal and KDOC, we cover all of Southern California. Now on to Nevada!" said Reiff.
